Positive Ideas to Spice up a Boring Life

Hello, I am Ririn Agustin, an art lover. I am currently a student at Mercu Buana University. I have a hobby of painting, and I share it with all the readers. I hope you will like it. Here is the most detailed information about my hobby.

Painting has long been a popular pastime for many people. Isn't a hobby something that a person does on a regular basis because they enjoy it? I've liked sketching since I was a child. I enjoy anything that has to do with color and art. I would choose painting as my favorite hobby if I had to choose only one. Painting has been a hobby that gives me joy because I can draw my imagination into an art piece and make the best out of it. When I start painting, I forget about everything and become entirely immersed in the work. I enjoy painting Arabic (calligraphy), painting nature, and making lettering.

I do my hobby in my spare time, such as after finishing homework, on holidays, and when I get bored with my daily activities. It puts me in a good mood. Now I have started to resurrect my drawing skills by spending a minimum of 2-3 hours a week. Do you know what makes me happy to paint? because my father and old sister always help me to get colored pencils, sketch pens, brush pens, sketchbooks, etc. 😉

I pursued my hobby of painting not only in my house but also at my school. I started participating in painting competitions in junior high school, and it was one of the calligraphy painting competitions. When I was in Vocational High School, I participated in a painting competition again. Although it was only a school competition, at that time I managed to get the second prize. In addition, when the school held an art exhibition, I also managed to have my painting displayed at one of the exhibitions at my school. This is my first certificate calligraphy artwork, which I completed in second grade at Vocational High School.

Besides paintings, my other passion is lettering, which is based on color and art. Since I feel bored with my notebooks, I consider how to make all of my notes books attractive to read. Finally, I found lettering. At first, the lettering was only a solution to beautify notes. However, lettering made me feel comfortable, and it became one of my new interests as a result. Lettering allows me to create a variety of good writings that can be used to write quotes, greeting cards, etc. 

That was all about my hobby, painting. I realized if you love something, you will find a way to do it. For that, I keep learning and practicing, even if it's just a hobby.
